3 Things To Remember When Changing Bulbs

Unfortunately, not all of our fittings are integrated which means you will have to change some bulbs. Luckily, LEDs are said to last up to 20 years with 8 hours of usage a day! This means you will be waiting a long time to install the next bulb – but, either way, here are a few things you should bear in mind:

1. Turn off the power: Never attempt to change a bulb whilst the power is still connected as this is incredibly unsafe

2. Listen for the click: Whenever you insert a bulb into the fitting, confirm it is in there snug by listening for the bulb to click into place or until you feel it lock

3. Dispose of the old bulb: As bulbs are all different, they will be disposed of in various ways. As LEDs are 100% recyclable, you can simply pop them into a recycling bin.
