Eco-Rocket Dimmable GU10 7w LED Bulb, 560 Lumens "The Luna" Description
An impressive development in LED lighting technology, the Eco-Rocket Dimmable GU10 7W LED Bulb "The Luna" provides a perfect replacement for your 60W incandescent light bulb. It’s great, as because it uses a standard GU10 fitting, it can be simple to switch over to LED lighting and retrofit this into your existing system.
This bulb has so many advantages when compared to an incandescent – take for example, their estimated lifespan. This bulb has a lifetime of 30,000 hours, or when used for eight hours a day – over ten years! Compare this to the old-style halogens, which only have a lifespan of around 1,200 hours – 25 times less!
This means that over the lifespan of your LED bulb, you’d have to buy 25 halogens just to get the same lifespan! But it’s not just in buying the light bulbs that you save, although we do have very competitive prices at WLED.
Introducing Eco-Rocket
A member of our brilliant ‘Eco-Rocket’ range, these bulbs are ready to take off, whilst your lighting bills remain low. They have excellent energy-efficiency, and can easily be retrofitted into your existing system. Thanks to their innovatively small design, you don’t have to worry about these bulbs growing too warm, with excellent airflow.
Energy-Saver
This bulb uses just 7W of energy to deliver the same 560 lumens of light that a 60W incandescent does. This means you get approximately 90% of energy saved – and therefore 90% off of your lighting bill! This means we help you save every single month for the next ten years with one of these amazing LEDs.
That’s not all though, if you have an array of spotlights, that you might think are expensive to run – think again. You could have eight of these LEDs running at the same time, and they’d still cost less that just one 60W incandescent bulb.
Beam Me Down
These bulbs measure just 55mm in height, and 50mm in diameter, which, coupled with the 60˚ beam angle, makes them perfect for some integrated downlights. They require a 220v-240v AC mains input, so they can be retrofitted into your existing mains connection.
These LED spotlights also come with a comprehensive two-year warranty, so you can shop with confidence. However, this can be extended to a five-year warranty free! Plus, if you’re buying them in bulk, you can save some of your hard-earned cash with our bulk-buy discounts!
Warm or Cool?
The beauty with LEDs is their customisability – with an incandescent, you just get one colour temperature – warm white, but with LEDs, you can choose. This LED in particular comes in a warm 3000k white, a 4000k daylight style white, and a cool 6000k white. This means you can better match the light to your room.
For example, a warmer white tends to look best in a living room or a bedroom, as it brings a warming, intimate glow. Whereas a cooler white delivers a brighter light that helps you concentrate, so is often better in a kitchen or bathroom. However, you can mix them up for different effects, too. The daylight-style white brings a blend of both, and is designed to mimic daylight, surprisingly.

Dim it Up
Unlike some of the older energy saving bulbs, this one is completely dimmable. But don’t worry, it’s not one that flickers when dimmed, or goes a strange yellow colour, LEDs can dim perfectly normally.
However, a lot of dimmer switches aren’t prepared for just how little energy an LED uses. Ordinary leading edge dimmer switches tend to struggle with loads of less than 40 watts, and, for a bulb that uses just 7W, would have problems. To avoid these issues, check out our LED-friendly trailing edge dimmer switches.
