Great for use anywhere, this dimmable 24v 14.4w/m single colour LED strip light can help you save a huge amount on your lighting bills or add great effect lighting wherever you need it.
As with all of our LED strip lights, it comes with a self adhesive backing, allowing for installation in nearly any location. Due to the wide range of surfaces that the LED Strip Lights are stuck to, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the adhesive on all surfaces. These strips can also be cut to every 100mm making custom lengths of strip very easy to make up.
Did you know that all of our LED Tape is dimmable? Simply use alongside a dimmable driver to alter the brightness!
You can also benefit from the variety of discount codes that are ran frequently on the site. These discounts can save you up 20% on your whole order.
Please note that all IP67 and IP68 tape comes in lengths of up to 5m max, and will not fit in any of our aluminium profiles.
IP65 tape comes in maximum lengths of up to 25m, and will be soldered tape to tape every 5m for any lengths over 5m. Although 25m lengths are available in this way, there is no guarantee that it can be ran continuously due to power drop. Please get in touch with us if you require further information about this.
IP20 tape may or may not come soldered tape to tape, as this depends on how it arrives to us from our suppliers.

Water Protection & Colour Options
LED strip lights have a few factors for consideration when installing them, mainly the colour of the LEDs and the waterproofing.
Warm white is what replicates traditional halogen lights closer than any other colour. Warm white provides the soft white colour that traditional light fittings emit. This is recommended for use in living areas such as dining rooms and living rooms. Warm white is also used a lot in bedrooms and hallways due to the colour that it emits. If the room you're looking at installing the strips lights into has a more traditional styling to it then warm white is, again, recommended over cool white.
Unlike warm white, cool white is a cooler, clearer white. It has more use in rooms that require as much light as possible such as bathrooms due to its cooler colour. Modernly design rooms and houses are also recommended to have cool white due to its colouring.
Both of these colours are also available in different IP Ratings to add to the range of uses. Both are available in IP20 and IP65 ratings for full internal use.
■ IP20 Rated LED strips have no protection against water and need to be installed where water cannot reach the strip lights.
■ IP65 Rated strip lights come with a layer of silicone on them to protect them from splashes and jets of water. They are generally installed in bathrooms to combat the steam and water as well as externally where water access is very limited.
As all IP Ratings of LED strip have a varying level of silicone on them, they come in different maximum lengths. IP20 is available in a max length of 10m whereas IP65 is available in lengths of up to 5m. All LED Tape is charged by the metre though - when filling out the quantity box at the top of the page, please round up to the nearest metre.
Customer Cutting Service
As mentioned previously these strips can be cut every 100mm. We are aware that not everyone has the option to cut and solder LED strip lights. In light of this, we offer a cutting soldering service! The first 3 are free, then every subsequent will be charged depending on the type of tape you have.
On top of this, we can also extend the cable on the end of the strip lights with 2 Core Cable to as long as you need.
All LED Tape is priced per metre. If you purchase any amount of LED strip lights then we will send it out as one full, uninterrupted length e.g. 1 x 3m rather than 3 x 1m.
Illuminating Your LED Strips
This specific LED strip runs at 24v and requires a power supply for it to function. We have a range of power supplies available for use with the strips, however not all are available in 24v.
Our power supplies are also available in a range of maximum loads to accommodate for longer lengths of strip lights. The list below is of notable lengths and the minimum loads that they require:
■ 1 Metre - 14.4 Watts;
■ 3 Metres - 43.2 Watts;
■ 5 Metres - 72 Watts;
■ 10 Metres - 144 Watts.
We recommend that any power supply that is used for LED strip lights to be a minimum of 10% above the load you'll be running. This helps maximise the lifespan of the power supply by making it run at a lower temperature and operate more efficiently.
12 Volts & 24 Volts, What's The Difference?
All of our LED strip lights are low voltage and require a power supply to operate. It is a common misconception that 24 volt strip lights are actually brighter than the 12 volt ones. Whilst this is untrue, 24 volt LED strips can run up to double the length of 12 volt.
This increase in length makes 24 volt LED tape a lot more feasible for commercial installations due to the lengths that can be ran.
LED Strips That Can Last Over Two Decades!
Our LED strip lights have an estimated lifespan of up to 50,000 hours which can last up to 15 years. This lifespan can even be extended further depending on how the they are installed. The main three influences of strip lights life are documented in the table below:
LED strip lights that are stuck onto a surface which effectively dissipates heat such as aluminium.
Surfaces such as wood, that dissipates heat poorly can cause LED strip lights to have a reduced lifespan.
Using IP Ratings where only necessary.
Excessive use of IP Ratings can cause premature failure in LED strips.
A cool airflow around the strip lights helps the strips maintain their life.
A warm environment can cause the strips to have a reduced lifespan.
If all positive influences are met then you can get up to 50% extra lifespan making a 75,000 hour lifespan, or over 2 decades!
We can also help you add to life of your LED strips with surface mountable profiles. Made of aluminium, they are very effective of dissipating heat and helping extend the lifespan of these lighting solutions. The aluminium profiles also have a more cosmetic feature due to availability of frosted or clear diffusers to provide a full, complete finish.
If you have internally installed IP65 LED strip lights without profiles they are not covered by any form of warranty for heat issues. Replacements for these will be charged at 50% when bought with aluminium profiles.
