This spring is only designed for use with our Fixed and Tilt Die Cast downlights. To make things simpler, we’ve picked out two exceptionally popular designs from this range to show you!

The Hoop Plus Downlight Die Cast GU10 Tilt Chrome has a wonderful streamlined look thanks to its chrome bezel, but the key feature is that you can tilt the beam to your liking, resulting in a more diverse range of lighting effects.

The EcoSpot+ Hoop Plus Downlight Die Cast GU10 Fixed Satin Chrome uses a smaller cutting hole, and will remain fixed in place. It also features an upgraded heat sink, improving the lifespan of any bulbs you use with it.

Longer Lifespans With LEDs

This spring helps expand the lifespan of your new downlight, as you can more easily make repairs instead of having to replace the entire fitting. If a longer lifespan is important to you, make sure you’re using LED spotlights with your downlights!

LEDs are hugely more efficient compared to older light bulbs, but the crucial benefit of this is it means they get a lot less hot. That means they’re under far less strain, and is a big part of the reason that LEDs have lifespans that can stretch on for literal decades!

That lack of heat waste also makes your lights a lot safer, as they’re much less of a fire risk.
