The 60W DALI Dimmable LED Driver is a small 204mm x 54mm x 33mm and has a low maximum load of 60 watts. With an input voltage of 240v AC, it will output your choice of either 12 or 24 volts.

This driver has dimming capabilities which will require a trailing edge dimmer. With this system in place, you will be able to reduce the brightness of your illumination much more sophisticatedly and with smoother dimming.

The Slimline Driver 45w is one of our thinnest models at 204mm x 54mm x 33mm and has a low maximum load of 45 watts. It can be easily hidden and is not only a great choice for strip lights, but for G4 bulbs too. It has an input voltage of 240 and can be purchased in either 12 or 24 volts.

Our 40W 1-10V Constant Voltage LED Driver from Mean Well is the perfect option for 1 – 10v dimming systems and single colour LED Strip Lights. With a maximum load of 40 watts and an output voltage of 12v, it has an IP rating of 20. It is 162mm x 43.5mm x 32mm.

How To Choose The Correct Driver

Our LED Strip Lights, and G4 bulbs, have voltage and current requirements that are different to the standard 240v mains input supply. They will therefore require a driver to work properly and to ‘step down’ their power in order to function.

When selecting a driver, you should consider the power outlet being used and the wattage of the strip lights. They also come in two varieties, including plug and play or mains ready.

To calculate the load required, simply multiply the wattage per metre by the total number of metres you intend to run from a single driver. Remember it is also possible to run more than one length of strip lights from a single driver!
