When connected to your WIFI you can effortlessly set up various automated lighting processes to suit your exact needs. Put your lighting on a timer, create scenes to come on following specific triggers and more!

In addition, many EasiLight products are RGBW or RGB + CCT enabled, meaning they give you access to 16 million colours of light!

The EasiLight range is compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa, so if you’re already using these home assistants it’s a simple matter to add your new lights into your ecosystem.

Where Can I Use Them?

Anywhere you like! EasiLight bulbs can easily be slotted into most fittings, instantly converting them into smart fittings.

However, some of the most popular locations for smart lighting include bedrooms, where timers and adjustable colour temperatures can really help support your sleep cycle and multi-function rooms where being able to quickly adjust your ambience on the fly can help enhance your day.

They’re also a great choice for hosting rooms, like dining rooms and lounges, as there’s nothing quite like adding in a sudden splash of colour to wow your guests!

What You Need

To get started, you’ll need to select a few products from our range. Firstly, you’ll need to select the bulbs you want! These will still need to match whatever base your light fittings have, so make sure to check that first.

Then you’ll need to decide what kind of lighting you want. If you just want a dimmable light that can produce various colour temperatures of white, you’ll want something like the Easilight E27 6W Dual White LED Light Bulb. If instead you’re looking for the full spectrum of RGBW colours, then the Easilight E27 6W RGB + CCT LED Light Bulb E27 is a better choice.

You could also choose integrated fittings like the Easilight 6W RGB + CCT LED Downlight. The Easilight Range is also compatible with our LED strip lights! You’ll need a compatible receiver and driver for this.

If you want a smart home setup instead of just a very adjustable bulb, you’ll want to make sure grab a receiver with WIFI compatibility, such as the EasiLight 2.4GHz Gateway. This will enable you to get your lights to talk to each other and to your gateway app or home assistant.

After this, you’ll want to select a compatible controller. This enables an easy pick up and play control method that means you can still control your lights when you don’t have your phone on you, and is a great choice if you like hosting guests but don’t want to give them access to your smart home ecosystem.

If you’re going with a WIFI compatible range, then you’ll also want to install the MiLight app (For Android or for IPhone). This will let you set up any home automation processes you’d like as well as control your lighting from anywhere in the world!

Wait, What’s CCT?

CCT simply refers to colour temperature. EasiLight products listed with CCT can have their colour temperature adjusted to your liking. This lets you choose between various shades of warm white light (for a more yellowish relaxed look) and cool white (for a more blue, clinical look) and many shades in between!

If you select a bulb with RGB + CCT capacity, that means you’ll get 16 million RGB colours, but it also means you’ll get a huge range of white light in an adjustable colour temperature. This gives you a huge amount of control over the ambience of your space, and makes them a perfect choice for domestic lighting set ups.

RGB lights on their own can’t produce true white light. Instead, they create white light through a mix of other colours. This doesn’t quite look right to the human eye. RGB lights are therefore best used in spaces where you don’t intend to use white light, such as event lighting.

RGBW lights can produce true white light, but they may not be colour temperature adjustable.
