LED PANEL LIGHTS

LED Panel Lights are quickly becoming the popular choice for commercial areas like offices and supermarket shop floors.

They’re replacing the more conventional halogen lights and fluorescent tubes that we’re used to seeing everywhere, and when you look at the facts – it’s not difficult to see why.

What Are LED Panel Lights?

They consist of a series of LEDs along the side of the panel that emit the actual light.

The reflective diffuser bounces the light everywhere across the perspex sheet, resulting in perfectly even illumination across the surface of the panel.

For the most part, they are used in grid ceilings. As a result, most of our panel lights are manufactured in 600 x 600mm and 1200 x 600mm sizes.

This makes them convenient as they can drop straight into the ceiling with minimal fuss, making installation really easy. You just need to connect them to the mains supply, through an LED compatible driver.

We supply a driver with all of our LED panel lights.

What Makes Them So Versatile?

Compared to traditional fluorescent tubes, our panel lights emit a much softer light. This has been said to be much more pleasant to work in.

On top of this, our lights don’t hum or flicker. Instead, they remain at constant brightness in complete silence, making them far less of a distraction.

They also come in a range of colour temperatures, giving you further options depending on where you want to use you lights and what effect you want to create.

You can pick from warm white (3000K), cool white (6000K) and day light (4000K).

Most people usually choose cool white when buying panel lights, as it is best suited to an office environment. The brightness and sharpness of the light helps concentration levels when you’re working, and helps keep you alert.

Incidentally, this kind of light is also used in bathrooms as it helps stimulate the senses in the morning.

With square, rectangular and circular shapes available, there are a multitude of designs that ensures our range appeals to everyone.

We also have a range of surface mount LED panel lights too. These are perfect for when you aren’t able to recess your lights. They come with all the fixtures and brackets necessary to mount onto any surface, like concrete or plasterboard.

As there is a space behind the panel, this allows you to hide the transformer out of sight – keeping your installation neat and tidy.

More recently, we’ve brought out a brand new range of blue edge lit LED panels.

These operate in exactly the same way as our normal panel lights, but also have a ring of blue LEDs around the edge of the frame.

This creates a blue halo effect around the panel when it’s switched on – making them great for areas like function rooms and venues looking to take add a new dimension to their lighting.
